Description
One year ago, when Google released its first software for managing the digital photos,Picasa2, I was so excited and it attracted my attention immediately. Until now, I can't find any other freeware which has the same functions and performances for managing my digital photos.
Of course, during using, I found that some interested functions are missed, for example:
Adding the text on photo, showing the tag(keyword) while in slideshow mode, and some other advanced image process like Magic wand provided by Photoshop, the images mix with more flexibilities, etc.
Because all of this, I decided to write my proper digital photo manager software after 3 weeks of picasa2 trying. From the version 1 to now version 2.80,some performances have enhanced. To tell the true, to compare with some same type of software you can find in internet, AlbumBox has better interface and better performances. Of course, AlbumBox has leant many things from Picasa2, and added some helpful functions.
Wonderful thing should be shared with friends.
Certianly,for the moment, since the image process is not rich as you want, for those persons who want to a wonderful,high quanlity result,AblumBox is not you best choice.
At this moment, AlbumBox provides 4 lanuages:
English, Chinese(GB), Chinese(BIG5) and French.
and it supports Unicode from version 2.20.
From version 2.80, 18 transaction effets have been integrated(like Powerpoint) during slideshow.Edition de thème photos, création d'un mixed photo with speciale texts are supported.
